Weight-Bearing Evaluation & Exercise

  • The ForcePlate sensitivity is highly beneficial for light touch/short duration desensitization exercise in pain management programs
  • Full weight loading helps with strengthening joints and the innovative activities encourage specific movement patterns
  • The controlled purposeful activity whilst minimizing joint loading is invaluable for patients with arthritis and other conditions where low force on the joints is desirable

Adaptable for
Pediatrics and Adults

The position of the ForcePlates in the BaseFrame may be varied to accommodate different stances from pediatrics to adults. Placing the two ForcePlates front and back permits evaluation and exercise for a single limb where there is need to differentiate weight-bearing between the heel and toes.

Customizable For
Upper & Lower Limbs

Removed from the BaseFrame and placed on a chair, the ForcePlates can also accommodate seated balance assessment as well as exercise. They are beneficial for bilateral upper limb weight-bearing functional exercise e.g. when rising from a seated position.

Interactive Activities

Two ForcePlates can be positioned in a variety of ways, for seated balance work to stepping stance training. Many game Activities offer single-axis movement for repetitive exercise, thus strengthening the lower extremities and addressing balance control, whilst the enjoyable fun element inspires the patient to exercise
